DIGITAL SKILLS project aims to evolve the practices of digital mediation actors through two main axes:
– firstly, the (re)mobilization of populations furthest from digital technology through ‘Outreach’ methods, reaching them in locations they frequent and at times that suit them;
– secondly, the adoption of tailored approaches and support for specific audiences (such
as those with disabilities, travelers, etc.).
Efficience has extensive experience in digital skills training.
– Our expertise has been particularly in adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of people who are employment.
Our range of services is designed to meet these specific needs:
– Acquisition of basic digital skills, such as computer and smartphone use.
– Mastering the use of software for professional purposes (office automation, for example).
Mastery of digital content creation tools for communication.
Since the events linked to the Covid-19 pandemic, our organization has been exploring new approaches to reach out to the audiences we weren’t reaching. In this context, we have experimented with setting up third-party locations in shopping malls.
Adult education center, certified by the Portuguese government, PREVIFORM , (Alto Minho territory or also called Upper Minho).
The structure works with different target groups, in education and vocational training actions in different fields,
– to facilitate integration into the job market, the social integration of people at increased risk of social exclusion, and to provide our graduates with the skills to progress in their professional careers or find new professional activities.
– Digital literacy and ICT training are an important component of our certified training courses, for which the materials and qualified staff guarantee the quality of the training, attested by a continuous assessment process carried out by professionals.
– Another relevant aspect is our experience in European projects, which, combined with the qualified human resources we have at our disposal, enables us to carry out many of the specific tasks involved in these projects to a high standard.
ressources
The Digital Skills project aims to have a major impact in the field of digital mediation, offering the opportunity to :
– provide concrete answers, tools and methods for developing basic digital skills on a European scale
– massively train professionals, volunteers, trainers, students and others involved in digital mediation
The digitization of society and the COVID episodes have radically changed the way we interact with local residents and social structures. “Access to rights” for residents and access to digital skills for as many people as possible have become priorities for social players. The aim of these accessible, free-to-use resources is to help you find your target audience in a changing context, and draw inspiration from best practices.
Today, it has become essential to tailor actions to the specific needs of each individual. The difficulties or particularities of a public in difficulty need to be taken into account when devising local solutions. The aim of these freely-available resources is also to show how structures are devising effective solutions, and how to draw inspiration from these inclusive best practices.
